About the assignment

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Global public DNS • Public Certificates • Code Signing certificates • Implementing and guiding new and existing service-related requirements • Partaking in international DNS cleanup projects within the group • Managing and maintaining public DNS infrastructure and certificate lifecycles, Code Signing infrastructure and URL redirection services. • Managing and maintaining documentation for the relevant responsibility areas • Testing and developing new service functionality with the help of key users • Building ITSM processes to support and integrate the service delivery • Enabling inter-connectivity towards the relevant services, as required by the business • Managing the relevant data of services so that this benefits the business in its needs • Determining feasibility and strategy • Building and coordinating service-relevant test environments, where applicable and where required • Defining functional requirements regarding, setting delivery time frames and cost calculation • Defining and enforcing service SLAs • Ensuring service delivery befitting a global business • Act and inform as subject matter expert for the Global DNS and Certificate services. • Building technical reference documentation that can be used to inform and educate our team and customers • Informing stakeholders about service delivery and gathering feedback to improve services • Answering ad-hoc questions related to global DNS and certificates • Working on our various global DNS cleanup initiatives

Requirements

Mandatory

• A solid understanding of public PKI, cryptographic concepts, keying mechanisms and adjacent concepts and technologies, such as ADCS • Expedience with bash, Powershell and Python • Proven experience with the OpenSSL and ACME toolkits and tools related to managing and diagnosing network connectivity, such as nslookup and dig • A strong affinity for ITSM tools and processes • Well-versed in global IT operations and security • Ready to overcome the daily challenges of a global IT environment within a major enterprise • Open to constructive feedback from customers • Supporting adjacent functions that intersect and interact with our global services (such as networking/load balancing/reverse proxy/web services) • Integrity - Upholding the integrity, virtues and values that align with the function. • Customer focus - Working towards common and unique customer requirements and needs. • Cooperation - Co-operating towards a common goal, even if this is not directly related to personal needs or requirements. • Strong proficiency in the English language is a must. • Independent team player • Technically versatile and highly analytic • Strong communicator • Troubleshooter • Customer-focused
