Sourcing Manager - Retail and Business Operations
About this role
At the heart of everything we do is our vision to change lives every day, and our mission to grow The National Lottery responsibly and champion its impact.
We are Allwyn UK, part of the Allwyn Entertainment Group – a multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence across the USA (Michigan and Illinois) and Europe, including Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Cyprus and Italy.
While the main contribution of The National Lottery to society is through the funds to good causes, at Allwyn we put our purpose and values at the heart of everything we do. Join us as we embark on a once-in-a-lifetime, largescale transformation journey by creating a National Lottery that delivers more money to good causes.
We’ll talk a bit more about us further down the page, but for now – let’s talk about the role and who we’re looking for…
A bit about the role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and implement the Procurement strategy and processes for the National Lottery for the next 10 years, as we build relationships with new and existing National Lottery suppliers.
A key aspect of this role is building collaborative relationships with our internal business partners across Facilities Management (Hard and Soft), Fleet, Business Operations, Retail Operations and Product (eg Scratchcards, InstantWin Games). Category knowledge within FM and Retail Operations is an essential requirement. Product experience is not a key requirement, but there may be some adhoc activity in this area. The position will require strategic relationship management with suppliers as well as leading the end-to-end procurement process including supplier plan & research, scope design in conjunction with stakeholders, shortlisting of suppliers, RFP writing, selection, contract negotiation and completion of onboarding. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple time sensitive requests, effectively engage stakeholders within all levels of management, including executive leadership and efficiently ensure the sustainable sourcing process is completed consistently with Allwyn UK policies and goals.
