Purpose Summary
Lead the AI, Cloud & IT Infrastructure function within the Commercial Department and drive technical pre-sales activities in support of business growth. The role will engage with customers to understand their business and technology requirements, design suitable cloud, AI, data center, and digital infrastructure solutions, and lead the development of competitive and deliverable techno-commercial proposals. The role will work closely with Business Development, Service Delivery, TIS, OEMs, and technology partners to support qualified opportunities through the sales cycle and ensure effective transition of won solutions to delivery.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the AI, Cloud & IT Infrastructure function and establish technical pre-sales practices, solution standards, and governance to ensure consistent and high-quality solution development.
Work closely with Business Development to qualify opportunities, lead customer discovery, assess business and technology requirements, and determine technical solution fit and feasibility.
Assess and translate customer requirements across data center colocation, cloud, AI/GPU infrastructure, connectivity, cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, and managed services into appropriate technical solutions and value propositions.
Lead technical pre-sales engagements and act as the primary technical point of contact between customers, Business Development, Service Delivery, Technology Infrastructure & Services, and relevant external stakeholders.
Conduct technical assessments, workload discovery, cloud readiness assessments, and infrastructure health checks to determine appropriate solution approaches.
Design scalable public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud solutions covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, AI/GPU infrastructure, security, and integration with existing customer environments, and recommend appropriate migration and modernization strategies.
Prepare solution designs, capacity and resource sizing, BOQs, HLDs, tender-level technical designs, and other required pre-sales technical deliverables in accordance with established architecture standards and best practices.
