Head of Infrastructure

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, Dayshift; Onsite Location: Ortigas Industry: Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of network, server, data center, cloud, and telecommunications infrastructure. • Ensure network stability, service availability, performance, and scalability to support business operations and customer requirements. • Implement infrastructure security policies, disaster recovery plans, backup strategies, and business continuity measures. • Lead and develop infrastructure teams, manage technology partners and vendors, and ensure efficient resource allocation and service delivery. • Develop infrastructure roadmaps, manage operational and capital expenditures, and drive technology improvements aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • At least 8–10 years of experience in IT or network infrastructure, including 3–5 years in a leadership or management role. • Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks, fiber-optic systems, IP networking, routing and switching, transmission technologies, data centers, and network monitoring tools. • Experience in network security, infrastructure reliability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and telecommunications service operations. • Proven leadership, project management, vendor management, and budgeting skills, with the ability to oversee network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and strategic telecommunications initiatives.
