EVP, Growth
About this role
Think Company is hiring an EVP, Growth to lead how we win new work and logos. You'll own both halves of growth, sales and B2B marketing, reporting directly to our CEO. This is a build role, not a maintain role: you'll set the strategy, run the team, and decide where we invest. If you've grown a consultancy before and have real opinions about what works, you'll have room to act on them here.
Quick Facts
• Location: Hybrid. Remote-first with in-person time in our Philadelphia studio every Wednesday. • Employment type: Full-time, exempt • Travel: Regular presence at local events, dinners, and client meetings; occasional travel for Think Company gatherings • Compensation: $ $180,000 - $200,000 plus annual bonus.
What You'll Do
• Own our growth strategy end to end, across both sales and B2B marketing, and define the goals we measure it against • Lead and grow the sales team, setting clear targets and holding the function accountable to them • Own our B2B marketing function and our external marketing partnership, judging honestly what's working and changing course when it isn't • Build a repeatable new business engine: how we identify the right prospects, how we reach them, and how we convert them • Bring a point of view on outbound, inbound, and brand-led demand, and make the call on where we invest • Partner with our COO and executive team on pipeline, forecasting, and revenue planning • Cultivate executive-level relationships with key prospects and participate directly in pursuits
What You Bring
• A track record leading both sales and B2B marketing, with wins and misses you've learned from • Demonstrated success selling consulting or professional services, where what you're selling is people and expertise • Proven ability to build and manage a sales team, including setting targets and holding people to them • A clear, evidence-based point of view on which go-to-market tactics work for a firm our type and size and which ones don't • Experience working with a B2B marketing agency vendor and holding it to measurable outcomes • Comfort building a function hands-on rather than inheriting one that already runs itself • Executive communication skills and the judgment to be a true thought partner to a CEO
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience founding or operating a consultancy or agency of your own • A visible presence in the industry through speaking, writing, or community-building
