Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Hardeeville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify badges and visitor access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused support in a limited-facilities setting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized personnel, contractors, and delivery drivers according to site procedures. • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required. • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns. • Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoffs accurately while communicating observations and site conditions to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack. • Access control and badge experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
