How This Role Works:
• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailers, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Monitor access to the facility, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and incident documentation. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed. • Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, traffic concerns, and/or hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.
