As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government correctional setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, facility policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and maintain required visitor and incident documentation. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate facility personnel and emergency responders when needed. • Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. • Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
