Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related needs with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns. • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and escort requests in accordance with site-specific procedures. • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. • Must be able to restrain individuals. • CPR certification is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
