Hours & Roster Details:
• Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time • Hours: Average 30 hours/week/182 hours/6 weeks roster period • Shift Time: 8.00am-3.00pm • Roster Pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (6-weekly rotating roster across Monday - Sunday)
The purpose of this job
Bupa Cashmere View Care Home is located in Somerfield, Christchurch , in a beautiful garden, setting alongside the Heathcote River. It offers rest home, hospital, and specialist dementia (psychogeriatric) care.
As a Cleaner you will be part of the Housekeeping team to:
• Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule. • Managing cleaning supplies. • Meeting of daily schedule to ensure that residents’ rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults or issues to the Household supervisor. • Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe chemical use and storage. • Treat residents with respect and dignity.
What you’ll need to make it possible
• Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable. • Be a proactive team player who can work independently and pitch in where needed • Empathetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a positive difference for residents • Available to work rotating rostered shifts, including weekends • Reliable transport and travel arrangements • Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
