Social Worker - Children's Services

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team, based in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced frontline service where you will work alongside partner agencies to ensure timely and effective safeguarding decisions for children and families.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Screen and assess incoming referrals relating to children and families. • Gather and analyse information from partner agencies to inform decision-making. • Identify levels of risk and need, ensuring appropriate safeguarding responses. • Undertake threshold decisions and make recommendations for statutory intervention where required. • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for children. • Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in line with service requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. • Experience working within a MASH, Assessment, Duty & Assessment, or Safeguarding Team. • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance. • Excellent assessment, analytical and decision-making skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
