The firm is based in Los Angeles, with additional offices in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Charlotte. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Intrepid Investment Bankers is expanding nationally and seeking to hire experienced Managing Director for our Software & Services Group in Los Angeles, NYC, or San Francisco.

Managing Directors will benefit from significant deal flow opportunities from the firm’s sponsor coverage, institutional referral relationships and its parent company’s coverage team with relationships spanning across many of the largest companies in the United States.

Intrepid’s Software & Services team specializes in delivering expert M&A advisory and capital-raising services tailored to the unique needs of the technology industry including Compliance Tech, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, Energy & Industrials Tech, GovTech, HCIT, HCM, PropTech, SalesTech, Supply Chain & Logistics, Vertical Software + AI, and Tech-enabled Services. With deep sector expertise and a proven track record, we help clients across a wide range of software verticals navigate complex transactions and achieve their strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Managing Directors are an important part of Intrepid deal teams, working closely with junior bankers and clients.

Managing Directors are involved in all phases of origination and execution including:

• Building relationships with deal referral sources and business owners • Identifying, qualifying, and generating new prospect leads • Managing the client relationship and overseeing all client and counter-party communication • Leading a specific practice or product area, as applicable, and developing thought leadership in target sectors • Overseeing all aspects of the transaction • Assisting other bankers in firm building activities (training, recruiting, mentoring, etc.)
