Varsity Winter Track Assistant Coach
About this role
Location: New York,New York,United States
Trevor Day School's Athletics program emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership. Our coaches are committed educators who teach our student-athletes the importance of collaboration, commitment, and hard work while instilling self-confidence and respect for others. We value competition as an opportunity to challenge ourselves while engaging with the larger community. Our teams and athletes compete successfully at the league, city, and state levels. Trevor benefits from state-of-the-art athletic facilities, including three gyms and training areas with fitness equipment.
We welcome candidates for the Varsity Winter Track Assistant Coach position for the winter 2026 season. This part-time, stipended position begins October 26th and ends March 6th. Practices generally occur on weekdays, with occasional weekend meets. Practice times vary between 3:30 and 7:00 PM, but meets may run beyond that time. Practices are typically held near Trevor Day School, with meets generally held on Thursdays at the Nike Armory. On race days, students may depart anytime after 2:00 PM, so coaches should be available at that time as well. Coaches are a vital part of the Trevor community, and we encourage them to take advantage of meals on campus, schoolwide events, and other activities. The stipend ranges from $3,300-$5,700 for the 16-week season (we are off for two weeks during winter break).
