Are you ready to lead innovation in high-voltage technologies that power the world sustainably?

At Hitachi Energy, we’re advancing the future of energy with a strong focus on eco-efficient and high-performance Metal-Enclosed Circuit Breakers Hybrid Switchgear, and oil- and gas-insulated instrument transformers.

As an R&D Project Manager, you’ll drive the development of next-generation products that meet the evolving needs of the power industry.

How you'll make an impact

· Lead Specialized Innovation: Manage the full lifecycle of new product development for projects falling in both product lines — from concept to market — ensuring excellence in cost, quality, and time-to-market.

· Drive Technical Collaboration: Coordinate international, cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, testing, and manufacturing. Work closely with product managers and external partners to align on technical and commercial goals.

· Ensure Product Excellence: Apply structured development methodologies (e.g., Gate Model), ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and proactively manage technical risks.

· Support Testing & Validation: Oversee design validation and type testing activities, ensuring robust performance and reliability of high-voltage insulation systems.

· Communicate & Influence: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering clear and timely updates to ensure alignment and support.
