THE OPPORTUNITY

We are expanding our Vancouver engineering team—our core product and development hub—and looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to take technical ownership of high-impact product initiatives.

In this role, you will operate with significant autonomy and direct influence. You won’t get lost in corporate red tape: you will architect scalable services, ship end-to-end features, collaborate closely with product and customer-facing teams, and help shape the long-term architectural trajectory of our platform.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- End-to-End Feature Delivery: Architect, build, and deploy robust features across Python/Django backends, modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React), and relational databases. - System Architecture & Scalability: Design modular, high-throughput backend services and clean RESTful APIs capable of handling complex pricing engines, high-volume procurement transactions, and live catalog syncs. - Production Reliability & Code Quality: Troubleshoot complex runtime issues in live production environments, champion automated testing, and lead thoughtful peer code reviews to maintain high security, architectural, and quality standards. - AI-Accelerated Workflows: Leverage modern development tools (such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery, write comprehensive tests, and debug complex codebases while maintaining rigorous engineering standards. - Database & Query Performance: Model normalized relational schemas (PostgreSQL), write complex queries, optimize indexes, and eliminate ORM performance bottlenecks and edge-case race conditions. - Integrations & Pipelines: Build and maintain resilient integration pipelines handling third-party REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, asynchronous queues (Celery/Redis), email ingestion, and document/OCR workflows. - Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide architectural decisions, author clear system documentation, and mentor intermediate engineers across the team.
