🏡 Where you'll fit in

We're looking for a subject matter expert in payments to lead payments delivery for our clients in North America. You'll know how money moves in North America, from traditional channels to newer ones, and you'll turn that into tangible outcomes for our clients.

You'll be a hands-on individual contributor in a flat, agile team, working with Kraken's engineers and the client's teams. Our clients are large, established North American utilities with legacy systems and sometimes limited payments expertise. You’ll be looked at by our teams, and the clients, as an expert and a leader.

Payments is only part of the picture. You'll also be in conversations about debt management and the wider process of collecting money from customers, both those in arrears and those who pay on time.

- Leading payments implementations from discovery to go-live and beyond - Understanding clients’ legacy systems and desired payments outcomes, and turning them into practical requirements and realistic plans - Balancing operational, commercial and technical pressures to deliver the right solution for the client and for Kraken - Recommending the right payment channels, integrations and reconciliation approach - Advising on collections and debt management alongside payments - Coaching colleagues on payments

This is a hands-on, individual contributor position. The role is North America based and your projects could be run from any state, travel is expected as part of this role.
