Sports League Operations and Growth Coordinator
About this role
Community Sports Partners | Remote — Latin America & the Caribbean Predominantly evenings and weekends, Toronto/Eastern time $1,000–$1,500 monthly base + $1,000+/month performance bonus potential
Build and run sports programs with the urgency, resourcefulness and accountability of a founder.
We are building a high-growth sports business and looking for someone who loves sport and wants personal responsibility for making leagues and programs succeed. You will own the process from initial planning through sales, launch, execution, customer experience and growth.
This is an intense, hands-on role with high expectations. You will pursue ambitious growth targets, solve problems under pressure and follow through on commitments. Your impact will be measured in filled programs, reliable delivery, returning players and sound financial results.
What you will own
• Planning: Assess demand, prepare budgets and launch timelines, coordinate venues and permits, and confirm schedules and staffing. • Sales: Follow up with players and team captains, convert enquiries into paid registrations and fill available spaces. • Execution: Coordinate local staff, referees, coaches and equipment. Check readiness before games and resolve problems during delivery. • Growth: Build partnerships, support campaigns, increase repeat registrations and identify opportunities for new programs and locations. • Customer experience: Own player communications, resolve complaints and restore confidence when something goes wrong. • Results: Track registrations, revenue, costs, program occupancy and retention. Report progress honestly, identify gaps early and deliver improvements.
High growth. High intensity. Personal accountability.
A conventional 9-to-5 mindset —waiting for instructions, doing only the assigned task or leaving problems for someone else—is incompatible with this role. We actively challenge passive working habits and address repeated failures of ownership through performance reviews.
• Think creatively: Find overlooked audiences, develop partnerships, test new offers and create practical ways to fill programs. • Show tenacity: Follow up consistently, work through setbacks and adapt when the first approach fails. • Move with purpose: Turn ideas into action quickly, measure what works and expand successful approaches. • Own the outcome: Raise problems early with a proposed response, escalate decisions when needed and coordinate the people required to resolve them. Build processes that prevent repeat failures.
