Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in Portland, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to evolving needs, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and guests at a public tourism location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, or maintenance issues. • Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and general information, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior according to site procedures. • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
